Delhi people facing difficulty in breathing Due to AQI above 300 IMD Weather Update today


Delhi AQI Today: In most areas of Delhi, people have started feeling cold in the morning and evening. However, the effect of sunlight still continues in many areas during the day. The weather may change in the beginning of November. As far as pollution in Delhi is concerned, people are facing difficulty in breathing due to high AQI.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, on Wednesday morning, AQI was recorded at 331 in Jahangirpur, 304 in New Sarup Nagar, 304 in Prashant Vihar and 303 in DIT, which falls in the very poor category. Apart from this, the weather in most areas of Delhi is in bad category.

Be prepared to face cold and pollution

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 272 on Tuesday morning, which falls in the 'poor' category. There has been improvement in AQI as compared to Monday. It was 304 on Monday. According to CPCB, there is a possibility of increase in pollution in Delhi after Diwali. Also, the temperature is expected to drop rapidly. In such a situation, people will have to face the brunt of cold and pollution simultaneously.

Like the last few days, fog was seen on Wednesday also. Pollution levels may be seen increasing on Diwali. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Wednesday may be 35 degrees. While the minimum temperature is expected to be 20 degrees.

Heat 5 degrees above average

According to IMD, the minimum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 20.3 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees more than the average temperature of this season. Whereas the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.8 degrees which is five degrees more than normal. Relative humidity was 85 percent. According to Delhi's Standard Observatory Safdarjung, the weather will remain clear in Delhi till November 4.
