Delhi Crime News: Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested a national level shooter. Himmat Deshwal, lodged in Bhiwani jail, used to supply cartridges to the operatives of the notorious Gogi gang. Police allege that Himmat Deshwal used to sell cheap cartridges for practice to gangsters at expensive prices. According to the Crime Branch, information was received that some miscreants have come to Delhi with weapons from Bihar. Based on the information, the police made a plan to trap the arms suppliers.
Four criminals Deepak, Veer Singh, Akash and Inder were arrested by raiding two different places. 12 good quality pistols and one revolver have been recovered from the accused. The captured criminals told the police that they had brought weapons from Bihar on the instructions of jailed notorious gangsters Deepak Boxer, Kapil Kallu and Yogesh. 34 cartridges and two magazines supplied by Himmat Deshwal have also been recovered from the miscreants.
Shooter used to supply cartridges to Gogi gang
According to the Crime Branch, Himmat Deshwal is a national level shooter. The shooter is lodged in Bhiwani jail. After getting the permission of the court, the police took Himmat into custody and interrogated him. Initial investigation revealed that Himmat had been supplying cartridges to gangsters for a long time. It is feared that the cartridge was to be used to carry out the crime in Delhi.
Police say that in recent times gangsters have been carrying out extortion through firing. The weapons and cartridges recovered from the arrested shooter and smugglers were also to be used in the firing. Delhi Police says that the investigation of the case is still going on. Police are now trying to find out how many more cartridges and weapons have been delivered to the gangsters through Himmat.
