Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered to appoint 2346 Home Guards immediately. These Home Guards have passed their Physical Measurement and Efficiency Test (PMET) and written examination. While 7939 other vacancies are waiting for the final result of two pending court cases. Under the instructions, 2346 candidates who have passed the examination will not have to wait unnecessarily. The Lieutenant Governor has also directed that a dedicated medical camp be organized within a week for medical examination of the eligible candidates. Appointment letters should be handed over soon after investigation.
