Visibility was recorded at 800 meters in Safdarjung at 6:30 am on Tuesday. At the same time, AQI was recorded in severe category in many areas including Anand Vihar. After Delhi, Gurugram remained the most polluted in NCR.

Delhi's air will remain poisonous on the occasion of Chhath Puja. Due to adverse weather conditions, pollution levels may reach severe category in the next two days. The air quality index is expected to cross 400. On the other hand, on Tuesday the AQI remained above 370, in the very poor category. However, a decrease of eight points was recorded compared to Monday. In the morning, a blanket of smog was seen in the sky. Due to increase in pollution level, people felt burning sensation in eyes and difficulty in breathing. Due to this people had difficulty in seeing far away.
