The investigation into Jaish-e-Mohammed module in Kashmir is making new revelations every day. In an important action, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) has formally arrested an AC technician from Pulwama, while a senior resident doctor has been detained for questioning. The agencies are now also looking for possible links of this entire network with the Red Fort blast case.

According to officials, 26-year-old Tufail Niaz Bhat, resident of Batmaloo, Srinagar, has been arrested. Bhat worked as an AC technician in Industrial Estate Pulwama. He was first detained and interrogated continuously, after which he was arrested after finding evidence related to the Jaish module case. Investigation has revealed that Bhat may be the supplier of AK-47 rifle. The same weapon which was recovered from the locker of Dr. Adil Ahmed in GMC, Anantnag.

Dr. Adil is the main accused in NIA custody

Dr. Adil Ahmed is the main accused in this case already in the custody of NIA. In the investigation of data and many electronic devices found against him, many more faces of this network have come to light.

Niaz had taken weapons from Pakistani handler

According to the investigating agencies, the suicide bomber of Red Fort blast, Dr. Umar Farooq, during his MBBS, lived on rent in the same house in Batmaloo where Tufail Niaz used to live. It is believed that due to this closeness, there was contact between the two and it is suspected that Niaz gave the same weapon to Umar Farooq, who later handed it over to Dr. Adil. This rifle has been recovered in an earlier raid.

In an important revelation, it has been revealed that Niaz had acquired this weapon from a Pakistani handler, whose identity has not been identified yet. The agencies are trying to trace the movement trail of the handler and the quantity and source of weapons delivered to the module.
