Madhurendra Kumar alias Munna Mishra, head of Marpa of Kachor Panchayat in Sitamarhi, was murdered. He was returning home with his wife. Meanwhile, the criminals overtook and stopped the vehicle. Then he broke the glass of Mukhiya's car by throwing a brick. After this the chief was shot with bullets. The shocking thing is that the criminals targeted only the chief. The chief's wife sitting on the adjacent seat and the dog sitting on the back seat were left behind. After the shooting, the chief's wife called home and informed about her daughter being shot. After which the family members and supporters reached the hospital and started expressing anger.
Police engaged in finding out the reasons for the murder
A crowd of supporters gathered in the hospital. There was a crowd of people nearby. Mukhiya was immediately admitted to the hospital but the doctors declared him dead. The incident took place near Ramnagar Hariharpur of Riga police station area. It is being told that more than a dozen bullets were fired at the chief. However, the reasons for the incident have not been known yet. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and started investigating the matter. Seeing the angry people, the police team under the leadership of SDPO Sadar remained busy on the spot.
Raids are going on in search of criminals
Local people say that deceased Munna Mishra has been winning the post of head of Kachor Panchayat for the last two terms. He has a son and a daughter. Elder brother also died of illness this year. According to police sources, there was some previous dispute going on. Regarding the matter, Sadar SDPO Rakrishna said that the chief was going to his residence in Sitamarhi. Meanwhile, criminals shot him dead near Hariharpur of Riga police station area. The chief has died in this. The body has been sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Who murdered and why? Its investigation is going on. Some people are being interrogated. Raids are going on in search of criminals.
