SDPO Jaiprakash Singh said that on January 7, 2022, Tetri Devi, resident of Shikarpur village of Shikarpur police station area, lodged an FIR in Sathi police station.
Married woman's mother lodged FIR
It was alleged that he married his daughter to Gama Mukhiya, a resident of Dhobni village of Sathi in 2020. After marriage, his daughter was beaten a lot for the bike as dowry. Panchayat was held regarding this. In 2022, Gama Mukhiya came home and called his wife and took her to her in-laws' house. He took her to her in-laws' house, murdered her and disposed of her body. The married woman's mother lodged an FIR in the matter. He told that when the police started conducting raids to arrest the accused in the case, Kailash Mukhiya, father of accused Gama, filed a complaint in the court and registered a false FIR. It is alleged that when his son Gama Mukhiya went to his in-laws house in Shikarpur, he did not return. Her in-laws murdered her and sent her away. After this, the police remained entangled in the murder case of both of them.

However, the police took more than 2 years to find it. SDPO Jaiprakash Singh, Sathi Police Station Head Dheeraj Kumar, SI Chandrashekhar Kumar, Bittu Kumari etc. included in the SIT team of the police have arrested Gama Mukhiya from his house. In the same case, the married woman's mother accused her husband Gama Mukhiya and father-in-law Kailash Mukhiya and her family members.
