The air quality in various parts of the country from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana to Bihar reached very severe category on Wednesday. Due to the suffocating environment, people are facing a lot of problems like sore throat and burning sensation in the eyes. The Meteorological Department says that after the increase in westerly winds due to the new western disturbance, people are expected to get relief from the suffocating pollution.
