Maharashtra Election 2024 AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, while addressing a public meeting in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, fiercely attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shinde-Fadnavis government and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. Owaisi said that these people are converting Hindus into Muslims by taking my name, they want to divide and break you by converting Hindus into Muslims. In Sambhajinagar, Owaisi said that both Shinde and Fadnavis know that they will not come to power again, hence they want to create a rift in the society by taking the help of 'Hindu-Muslim' issue. He said that this is a well thought out strategy by which an attempt is being made to divide the society.

Support for Maratha reservation
Owaisi supported Maratha reservation and said that his party stands with the Maratha community on this issue. He alleged that BJP and Shinde government lathi-charged Jarange Patil who was agitating for Maratha reservation, which shows the repressive policy of the government.

Attack on Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav
Owaisi strongly criticized Akhilesh Yadav, calling Samajwadi Party insensitive towards Muslims. Owaisi, citing the 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots, said that at that time hundreds of women were victimized and thousands of people became homeless, but Akhilesh organized the festival in Saifai.

Questions on BJP's promises
Owaisi targeted BJP leaders and said that Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah Had promised to give Rs 15 lakh, but now only Rs 1500 is being given in the name of “Laadli Brahmin” scheme. He clarified that this money is not coming from BJP's pocket, but from public taxes.
