Bihar News: Dr. GK Pal, Director of Patna AIIMS, has been removed by the Central Government. There was an allegation of getting the son admission with a fake certificate. Director of Deoghar AIIMS has just got the responsibility of Patna AIIMS. From today (6 November) he will take over as the Director of Patna AIIMS. At the same time, the Central Government has issued a letter in this regard. Director of AIIMS Deoghar has been given additional charge of AIIMS Patna.

He was accused of getting a wrong certificate made for his son

Let us tell you that Dr. GK Pal was accused of getting his son admitted by making a wrong OBC certificate. Dr. GK Pal is accused of enrolling his son in PG while he was in additional charge of AIIMS Gorakhpur. In this, he had got his son's certificate prepared under non-creamy layer. An investigation was conducted in this matter. A two-member committee was formed to investigate. The committee found that Dr. Pal had misused his position and had made this certificate to get his son admitted. The allegation was found true. 

After this investigation, the committee sent its report to the Health Ministry. At the same time, on the basis of this investigation report, on Tuesday, the Central Government took action against Dr. GK Pal and called Dr. GK Pal to Delhi.

Deoghar AIIMS director gets additional charge

At the same time, Dr. Saurabh Varshney, Director of AIIMS Deoghar has been appointed as the new Director of AIIMS Patna. Dr. Saurabh Varshney has been appointed as the Director of AIIMS Patna for 3 months or till the appointment of a new Director.
