The price of 12 kg gas cylinder has been reduced by Tk 1


At the consumer level, LPG prices have come down again. The price of 12 kg cylinder has been reduced from Tk 1,456 to Tk 1,455. After increasing the price of LPG for four consecutive months, this time it has decreased a little.

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced this in a press conference on Tuesday (November 5).

BERC chairman Jalal Ahmed announced this rate. He said that the price of LPG per kg has been fixed at 121 32 paise for this month. It will be effective from 6 pm today.

Earlier, the price of 12 kg LPG cylinder was increased to Tk 1,421 at the consumer level in September as well, which was Tk 1,377 in August.

Meanwhile, from today, the price of LPG supplied in liquid form in reticulated system used centrally to households has been reduced from Tk 117 49 paise to Tk 117 23 paise per kg.

Not only 12 kg, 5 kg, 12 and a half kg, 15 kg, 16 kg, 18 kg, 20 kg, 22 kg, 25 kg, 30 kg, 33 kg, 35 kg and 45 kg LPG cylinders have also been reduced.

Meanwhile, the price of auto gas has been reduced from 66 taka 84 paisa per liter to 66 taka 81 paisa, which was 65 taka 26 paisa in September.

According to BERC, Saudi Aramco's announced Saudi CP (contract price) of propane and butane for the month of November rose to USD 631.75 per metric ton respectively.
