The 23rd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Exhibition started on January 15


The four-day 23rd Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2025—Winter Edition and the 7th Dhaka International Denim Show 2025 will begin on January 15 in Dhaka. Conference and Exhibition Management Services (SEMS-Global USA) and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX China) are organizing two exhibitions at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. The exhibition will end on January 18.

The officials of the organizing organization presented the details of the exhibition in a press conference held at a hotel in the capital on Monday.

It was informed in the press conference that Bangladesh, South Asia and global textile and apparel industry stakeholders will participate in the exhibition. There will be more than 650 booths. About 325 companies from more than 15 countries will participate in the exhibition. Besides, there will be three international seminars during the exhibition. The exhibition will run from 10 am to 7 pm daily.

Mehrun N Islam, President and Group Managing Director, Semes-Global USA and Asia Pacific, gave details of the exhibition. He said that the exhibition is an effective meeting place for buyers and suppliers in Bangladesh, where buyers and suppliers can work on business expansion through direct communication. The exhibition will mark the 8th anniversary of the joint effort of Sems-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China. These exhibitions have been playing a very helpful role in the advancement of the textile industry in Bangladesh and in increasing the exports of Bangladesh-made garments.

CCPIT Tex Deputy Secretary General and Director Chen Bo joined the press conference via video conference from Beijing, China. CEO of Sems-Global SS Sarwar and Executive Director of Sems-Global Tanveer Kamrul Islam were also present in the press conference.

According to the organizers, these exhibitions are part of the globally acclaimed textile series of exhibitions organized by Semes-Global USA and spanning three continents; Which is held every year in Bangladesh, Brazil, Morocco, Thailand and Sri Lanka. The Textile Series of Exhibitions has already played a major role in the advancement of the garment and textile industry in South Asia.
