Special discount of raw exporters to repay the loan installment

The central bank has given a special discount of two years in simple terms to repay the loan installment of raw exporters. Bangladesh Bank issued a notification on Sunday.
It said that 2 percent of the total loan status would be given a two -year discount to pay the installment. The total loan will be given at the end of December last year.
Exporters suffered losses due to the stop of raw jute exports multiple times. As a result, many of the bank loan burden took the business out of the business. On the other hand, the interest rate of the bank and the economic downturn in the world market, the traders are in disaster. Therefore, the raw jute sector was demanded to make financial incentives.
The Bangladesh Jute Association (BJA) demanded the allocation of Tk 2.5 billion in the raw jute sector, along with the financial incentives of the raw exporters. Earlier in June 2022, the central bank gave a notification to repay the loan installment.
