A formal campaign has been launched by EWC Bangladesh 2021 (EWC Bangladesh 2025) to highlight the ideas of new entrepreneurs, establish networking with global investors and mentors and to introduce Bangladesh's startup ecosystem world-class. The journey began on Monday (April 23) with a brilliant 'Meet the Press' program in Daffodil Plaza, Dhanmondi.
The program was jointly organized by Daffodil International University and Global Entrepreneurship Network (GN) Bangladesh.
The event was presided over by the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GN) Bangladesh and Daffodil International University Chairman. Md. Eat Sabur The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) is one of the world's largest startup pitching competitions, where participants present their innovative concepts and business plans to win $ 3 million worth of prizes and investment benefits. In this competition, startups will be selected in these three categories – Idea Stage, Early Stage and Growth Stage from Bangladesh.
Global Entrepreneurship Network (GN) Bangladesh and Daffodil International University Chairman Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said, 'Innovation will build Bangladesh next day. And the Entrepreneurship World Cup is the first step to make that dream a reality. '
Speakers at the event said that the World Cup is a huge opportunity for the Bangladeshi startup ecosystem, where entrepreneurs can connect with worldwide investors, consultants and technology experts.
Global Entrepreneurship Network (GN) Bangladesh, Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited, Knowledge Veil and Daffodil International University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department are the national organizers of the event. In addition, Microsoft, Neom and Monshaat have support from other international partners.
Speaking on the occasion, Munir Hasan, chief coordinator of the first light digital transformation and youth program, said the chief executive of the Daffodil family. Participants in the discussion called for increasing startup practice by organizing awareness campaigns, seminars and workshops at the university level.
