Finally, the Election Board has announced the election of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the country's top trade organization.
According to the schedule, the election of the organization will be held on September 7. On this day, FBCCI will be elected president, senior vice-president, vice-president and director for a term of FBCCIIer 2021-22 and 2021-20.
The FBCCI Election Board released the FBCCI Board of Directors on Wednesday.
The FBCCI's board of directors will be conducted following the Commerce Organization Act 2022 and the latest trade organization Rule 2021. In the Rules, the size of the board of directors of the FBCCI has been reduced from 1 to 5.
One of them will be the president, a senior vice -president, two vice -presidents.
According to the election schedule, all the member chambers and associations in the member will be sent to the FBCCI's General Assembly by July 2 at 4 pm.
The preliminary voter list of the FBCCI board of directors will be released on July 7. And the final voter list will be released on July 23.
The preliminary list of candidates will be published on August 7 for the post of President, Senior Vice President, Vice President and Director. After the scrutiny and analysis of the information, the Election Board will publish the final list of candidates for these posts on August 5.
If a candidate wants to withdraw his candidacy, the Election Board will have to inform the Election Board about this on August 2 at 2 pm. On that day, the Election Board will publish the final list of candidates for the FBCCI board of directors.
