Cash assistance will be provided against exports of juices and drinks prepared from locally produced fruit pulp. In this, the exporters will get 10 percent cash incentive. Bangladesh Bank has issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (November 21).
According to the central bank, new guidelines have been issued regarding cash assistance for exports of agricultural produce (vegetables/fruits) and processed (agro processing) agricultural produce. As a result, exporters will henceforth get cash assistance against exports of juices and drinks prepared from locally produced fruit pulp.
Regarding cash assistance in the export of agricultural products and processed agricultural products, it has been said in the directive, in a related circular issued in 2019, there are instructions to provide cash assistance against the export of all types of pastes, fruit bars, canned goods, dehydrated goods, juices, drinks produced from fruits and vegetables. In addition, cash assistance will be applicable against exports of juices and drinks prepared from locally produced fruit pulp received from affiliates or different establishments located within the country.
Other instructions in the circular issued earlier regarding grant of export incentives or cash assistance against export of agricultural produce and processed agricultural produce shall remain unchanged. From July 1 this year, the exporters have been getting cash assistance at the rate of 10 percent for the export of agricultural products (vegetables/fruits) and processed (agro processing) agricultural products.
