The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has canceled the track certificate of the brokerage company Trister Securities Limited. The company's trek number was 25. The information was released in a notification published on the DSE website on Monday.
According to the DSE, the decision was made in accordance with Article 5 (1) of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Trading Right Entitule Aittle Certificate (TRAK) Rules, 2021. The process of cancellation of the certificate was completed by violating Article 1 (2) (c) of the Trister Securities Rules.
The DSE has requested the investors to review their respective accounts and resolve the debt. However, if an investor is objected to the disposal, then the DSE's Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) has been asked to file a complaint with the required documents.
Asked about this, Zulfiqar Raihan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Trister Securities Limited, said, “Capital shortfalls create a net shortage of net. This is why the certificate has been canceled. We applied for the protection of the certificate, but it was not accepted. So we will not run the business anymore. '
