The finance adviser said this in response to a question to journalists after the meeting of the Government Purchasing Advisory Council Committee at the Secretariat on Tuesday. Journalists asked the adviser to investigate whether you would investigate where the money was spent in Bangladesh.
In response, he added as a supplemental answer, “There will be surveillance in the future so that foreign money is not used in such motivated work.” However, he did not elaborate on the specific amount or expense sector of the money sent by Joe Biden. It has not yet been decided whether the government will have any formal investigation in this regard. However, the concerned offices will keep a watchful eye on the matter, the Finance Advisor said.
Responding to another question about inflation, finance adviser Salehuddin Ahmed said that the government is currently working to reduce the inflation between 3-5 percent after Ramadan is over, but after the completion of Ramadan.
