Bangladesh Submarine Cables plc declared 40 percent cash dividend


Bangladesh Submarine Cables Plc (BSCPLC) has declared 40 percent cash dividend for the shareholders of the company. This announcement was made at the 16th Annual General Meeting held yesterday on Wednesday. BSCPLC informed all this information through a press release on Thursday morning.

It is said in the notification, the 16th Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCPLC) Secretary of Post and Telecommunication Department and Chairman of the Company Dr. Md. Mushfiqur Rahman presided over the virtual platform. It also declared a 40 percent cash dividend for the company's shareholders in the financial year 2023-2024, among other statutory matters.

The notification also said that the company's board of directors member, the post and telecommunication department's additional secretary Md. Jane Alam, PSC AFWC Brigadier General Ikram Ahmed Bhuiyan, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Bidyut Chandra Aich, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department of BUET. Md. Mustafa Akbar, Joint Secretary of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance Syed Muhammad Kawshar Hossain, Md. Moniruzzaman, FCA, Independent Director, Managing Director of the company. Aslam Hossain, Company Secretary, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Audit Officer along with senior officers and representatives of statutory auditors were present.
