The unemployment rate in Egypt witnessed a modest increase in the third quarter of this year, rising to 6.7% from 6.5% in the second quarter, East Economy reported, citing data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics.
The slight increase reflects the ongoing economic challenges and the effects of global market fluctuations on the local labor market.
