For his part, Engineer Karim Badawy reviewed the efforts to develop the mining sector in Egypt, pointing to the experimental launch of the Egypt Mining Portal as a digital investment platform and a basic catalyst for mining investment and easy access to data during the activities of the Egypt Mining Forum, which was held in July 2024, and its actual launch is close to the end of this year. .

He also urged the company to consider taking advantage of the investment opportunities available in the mining sector in Egypt in light of the Egyptian mining sector’s promising mining opportunities and distinguished human skills. He also indicated that the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources is in the process of preparing to launch a new bid to search for minerals soon in several regions. In Western Sahara.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of cooperation in the field of trade and circulation of liquefied gas in light of Egypt’s distinguished infrastructure represented by the liquefaction stations in Idku and Damietta as a quick alternative to transporting gas to foreign markets.
