Arab Finance: Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, made a field visit to the Egyptian-German Electrical Products Company “EGEMAC”. To follow up on the progress of work and the company’s plan To meet the requirements of the local market for various electrical tasks, as well as export abroad, especially the African market to which it is currently exported, and to review the sales and marketing policy for many of the company’s products to increase its market shares locally and abroad.
Dr. Mahmoud Esmat began the visit by meeting with the heads and managers of the various sectors and operating officials. The business strategy and operating plan for the production lines, the market share of each product, the percentage of the local component and how to increase it in the company’s products, and benefiting from the state’s plan to support the local industry and localize modern technology, as well as cooperation and partnership with the private sector, were reviewed. Dr. Mahmoud Esmat also inspected the production lines and factories for producing various supplies, including medium, low and high voltage supplies, which are produced in cooperation with major international companies, the most important of which are medium voltage distributors, ring connection panels, kiosks of all kinds, low voltage panels, current transformers and other equipment and machines and the latest engineering programs in Design and programming, which enabled the company to increase production value during the last period, and Dr. Esmat was informed of the success of qualitative tests for the first medium voltage distributors bearing the company’s trademark. EGEMAC as well as low voltage panels, making EGEMAC one of the first Egyptian companies to produce these supplies within the framework of the state’s plan to increase local manufacturing and reduce pressure on foreign currency.
He also explained that Agemak Company is one of the oldest companies that manufacture electrical equipment, which was established in 1979 in order to rely on it to provide all types of equipment with all types of low, medium and high voltages and in accordance with the highest required quality standards, and the company possesses the accumulated experience and capabilities necessary to achieve this, which was reflected in the contributions EGEMAC and its participation in many national projects during the past stage, pointing to the interest in training programs and the keenness to implement maintenance according to specific timings and time plans and the application of occupational safety, health and work standards.
