Badawi explained the importance of the mining sector, and discussed ways to create and provide an attractive climate for the private sector to enter into mining projects and complementary industries that are based on mineral wealth, pointing out the important role of the Chamber in this regard and the possibility of benefiting from it in transferring successful experiences in other countries. The Chamber of Mining delegation reviewed its role in encouraging investments in the mining sector in Egypt, not only in gold but in various minerals, and supporting the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in transforming the Mineral Resources Authority into an economic body. They added that there is cooperation with large mining companies in order to invest in this sector.
