Arab Finance: The National Bank of Kuwait Egypt announced the launch of the NBK Beyond Banking segment for major customers, which includes a package of banking services and products targeting a large number of its customers.
The bank explained in a statement that the new SIM is in addition to the package of SIM cards for senior customers that the bank previously launched, such as the Thahabi Banking and Privilege Banking SIMs, and provides additional benefits.
Yasser Al-Tayeb, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO and Managing Director of the bank, said: The launch of the new SIM comes within the framework of the bank’s expansion policy and its goal of reaching more diverse customer segments, relying on the great development in modernizing the digital infrastructure, which has witnessed a leap in recent years. This enhances the bank's market share in the region's largest country in terms of population.
Al-Tayeb stated that the Beyond Banking segment was created based on a careful and in-depth study of the Egyptian market and the nature and needs of the customers who belong to it.
Al-Tayeb explained that the segment offered to major customers reflects the remarkable development the bank is witnessing in terms of the growth of its business, especially in the retail banking sector for individuals, whose role is growing significantly alongside the corporate sector.
He stressed that the bank's policy during the coming period aims to focus on attracting new customers to support the retail banking portfolio, which includes a wide variety of different customer segments.
The new segment is also considered a qualitative leap in terms of services and products provided in the Egyptian market, as customers in the Beyond Banking segment will receive financial solutions specifically designed to help them manage and develop their wealth.
