Arab Finance: Today, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, chaired the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers in the New Administrative Capital. This is to discuss a number of important topics and files.
The Prime Minister spoke about the visit of Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, who made an official visit to Egypt for several days, coinciding with the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly said: The visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia to Egypt is the culmination of the historical and growing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and benefiting from this new stage in consolidating the frameworks of cooperation and friendship between Egypt and Malaysia, noting that the meeting between His Excellency Mr. President and the Malaysian Prime Minister witnessed an emphasis on the importance of developing… Relations have reached the level of comprehensive strategic partnership in various fields, which is what the government will work to achieve during the next stage.
During his speech, the Prime Minister touched on his participation, on behalf of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, in the activities of the twenty-ninth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
In this regard, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly indicated that, during his attendance at the climate summit, he met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and a number of Their Highnesses and Excellencies, presidents and leaders of a number of countries participating in the summit. He also met with the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund, pointing out that this conference was an opportunity Conducive to confirming the depth of the ties that unite Egypt with various countries of the world, and the desire of the Egyptian state to expand the frameworks of bilateral cooperation with those countries in various fields.
The Prime Minister also affirmed the Egyptian state's aspiration to establish more aspects of cooperation with the Republic Azerbaijan In all fields, especially the petroleum and pharmaceutical industry sectors, in this regard, he directed the Ministers of Petroleum and Health to support cooperation with the sister country in these two fields.
