The Kuwait Stock Exchange ended today, Tuesday, an increase in its general index by 15.23 points, equivalent to 0.19%, to reach 7959.41 points. The session witnessed the circulation of 575.8 million shares through 24,678 cash deals, with a total value of 118.5 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 364.9 million US dollars).
The main market index recorded an increase of 7.80 points, by 0.11%, to reach 7417.62 points, by trading 415.3 million shares, at a value of 59.15 million dinars.
On the other hand, the first market index increased by 17.85 points, or 0.21%, recording 8487.60 points, as a result of trading 160.5 million shares worth 59.4 million dinars.
The “Major 50” index also achieved the largest gains among indicators, an increase of 47.35 points, or 0.64%, to close at 7490.65 points, trading 323.3 million shares of 48.7 million dinars.
