Arab Finance: GB Capital Financial Investments, the financial arm of GB Corporation, has obtained a license to promote and underwrite securities offerings, marking an important step in its expansion plans, said the statement sent on October 14.

Although GB Capital will not become an investment bank, this license will allow the company to provide new services in addition to existing activities, such as risk capital and establishing companies that issue securities or to increase their capital.

“GB Capital” includes under its umbrella nine specialized companies, including: “GB Leasing and Factoring,” “Drive Finance and Non-Banking Financial Services,” “GB Auto Rental,” “Capital Securitization,” and “Credit.” To finance small and medium enterprises, and GB Capital for Securitization.

It also has shares in companies such as “Bedaya Real Estate Finance”, “MNT Halan”, and “KAF Life Insurance”.

In this context, Tamer Al-Omari, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of GB Capital, said: “Obtaining the license to promote and cover subscriptions in securities represents an essential step towards expanding our activities.
