Arab Finance: achieved Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) (COMI)A combined net profit of 14.8 billion pounds during the third quarter of the current year 2024, compared to about 8.4 billion pounds in the comparative quarter last year.
The consolidated financial statements of the Commercial International Bank revealed an increase in the bank’s net profits during the first nine months of the year 2024, reaching about 42.3 billion pounds last September, compared to about 22.5 billion pounds in the corresponding period last year, with a growth rate of 88%.
The total assets of the Commercial International Bank also jumped to 1.1 trillion pounds at the end of last September, compared to about 834.8 billion pounds at the end of December 2023.
The portfolio of loans and facilities to customers also reached 304 billion pounds at the end of September 2024, compared to about 235 billion pounds in December 2023. The portfolio of loans and facilities for banks also grew to reach 3.3 billion pounds, compared to 822.4 million pounds in the same comparison period.
In terms of deposits, they rose to reach 900.9 billion pounds at the end of last September, compared to 677.2 billion pounds at the end of last December, and net income from returns recorded 65.7 billion pounds in the first nine months of this year, compared to 37.7 billion pounds in the corresponding period last year.
While net income from fees and commissions amounted to 5.2 billion pounds during the first nine months of this year, compared to about 4 billion pounds in the corresponding period last year.
