Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said that the speed of payment of outstanding payments of India's Adani Group has increased, and the speed will increase further. The government has that capability. Adani's payment of 700 million dollars is left, that too I can make it soon.

He said this at a press briefing at the Forest Service Academy on Hare Road on Sunday (November 3) evening.

The press secretary said that India's Adani Group receives money for importing electricity, it is true. Speed ​​up their payments. The previous Awami League government is mainly responsible for the backlot that exists. They left huge files of backlots.

Shafiqul Alam said that a payment of $97 million was made to Adani Group last month. That is double than August or the previous month. An initiative has been taken by us to make the maximum payment faster. The country's reserves have started to increase. I can make international payments without touching the reserve.

He said, we will not be power hostage (dependent on fuel) by anyone. Be self-sufficient.
