The blue party won the election of Bangladesh Bank Officers Welfare Council. This group is known as pro-Awami. In the elections, the candidates of the blue party won all the important positions including president, vice president and general secretary.
Voting was held at the central bank's head office on Wednesday (November 20) from morning to 5 pm. 9 out of 15 posts have been elected from the blue party.
They are President AKM Masum Billah, Vice President Tanveer Ahmed, General Secretary Golam Mostafa Shravan, Co-Editors AUM Manna Bhuiyan and Mohammad Taufiqur Rahman Khan, Treasurer Afsana Chowdhury and Office Secretary Sagar Sarkar.
Apart from this, Mustaq Ahmed and Prannoy Roy Shuvo were elected as members from the blue party.
Winners from the other panels are Vice-President Amitabh Chakraborty. And the five winners from the yellow team are – Organizing Secretary Ramendu Das Palash, Publicity Secretary Shah Md. Yakimul Alam, Member Shahriar Rahman Sams, Sabikun Nahar Shireen and Abid Ali Mughal.
