Former President Abdul Hamid's Jamaat has retired


Former President. Abdul Hamid's son -in -law Mohammad Mahmuduzzaman has been retired from government service. He was acting on the current duties of the Tax Commissioner of the National Board of Revenue (NBR). His original post is the additional tax commissioner.

On Wednesday, Mohammad Mahmuduzzaman's order was issued from the Internal Resources Department of the Ministry of Finance.

The order states that Mohammad Mahmuduzzaman's service has been completed for 20 years. Considering the need to retire from government service in the public interest, he was retired under section 5 of the Government Jobs Act, 20. However, he will be entitled to retirement facilities.

The government has also retired Shafiqul Islam Akand, the tax commissioner (ongoing responsibility) of the Tax Appeal Region-1, showing the same reason.

There were allegations of corruption and harassment while working in various tax offices including Mahmuduzzaman Tax Zone-1. It is also reported that the compulsory retirement has been sent against him.
