The Amir of Islamic Movement Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Mohammad Rezaul Karim Pir Charmonai said, Islamic Movement Bangladesh does not want to come to power on the basis of any party. Islamic Movement Bangladesh wants to come to power by its own power.
He said this at the foundation anniversary rally of Islami Sramik Andolan Bangladesh at Dainik Bangla Road in Purana Paltan of the capital on Friday (November 8) afternoon. Leaders and activists from all over the country participated in the rally.
Referring to the issue of 'Islamic Movement Bangladesh's contribution to the anti-discrimination movement', Pir Charmonai said, 'Islamic Movement Bangladesh and all their affiliate organizations will be the first on the streets in any crisis-problems of the country whether they come to power or not.'
He said, 'Those who oppressed the people of the country for the past 17 years will not be allowed to come to power. No new fascism will be allowed to be established in this country.'
Islami Andolan Bangladesh senior presidium member Syed Mosaddek Billah Al Madani, presidium member Prof. Ashraf Ali Akon, Prof. Mahbubur Rahman also addressed the gathering.
The gathering was presided over by Aminul Islam, Central President of Islamic Labor Movement Bangladesh.
