In a major action against international illegal arms smuggling, the Counter Intelligence Wing in Amritsar, Punjab has arrested two accused Aditya Kapoor alias Makhan and Ravinder Singh. Four weapons including cartridges have been recovered from the accused. this arrest

While sharing the information, DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav said that in the preliminary investigation, 12 criminal cases are already registered against the main accused Aditya Kapoor. It is being told that he was in contact with criminals based in America and Portugal. Was doing illegal activities on his instructions.
Aditya was in contact with Balwinder Singh alias Donny Bal and Prabhdeep Singh alias Prabh Dasuwal, based in America, and Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Ghanshyampuria, based in Portugal. The team of State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) has registered an FIR in the case and started action.

14 live cartridges seized along with pistol
At the time of arrest, the police recovered 4 sophisticated weapons from the accused, one of which is a Glock pistol. Apart from this, five magazines and 14 live cartridges have also been seized. The Glock pistol is considered a high quality weapon, commonly used by organized criminals.
Jaggu Bhagwanpuria's anti group is gang
According to counter intelligence, all these criminals are considered to be arch rivals of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang already active in Punjab. This criminal network is involved in organized smuggling and various criminal activities. On the instructions of foreign criminals, this gang used to smuggle weapons and other illegal goods.
Aditya Kapoor had a key role in this network and was conducting local activities primarily on the instructions of kingpins based in the US and Portugal. The purpose of these smuggling activities was to expand the reach of criminal gangs in Punjab.
