He said this step is an effort to address the difficulties of farmers and ensure that no farmer is left out. “Problems arise in the distribution of paddy bonus,” the Chief Minister said at a program related to the ownership scheme in Seoni. Therefore, the government has decided to conduct a drone survey of paddy cultivation.”
Paddy bonus usually means an amount given in addition to the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for the crop. He said, “We will deposit the bonus amount in the bank accounts of all the farmers. No one will be deprived.” Yadav said his government's resolve is to provide 'water to every field and work to every hand'. Taking a dig at the previous Congress governments in the state, he said that during the tenure of the opposition party between 1956 and 2003, the irrigation potential of the state was only seven lakh hectares.
The Chief Minister said, “But after BJP was in power from 2003 to 2023, the irrigation potential has reached 48 lakh hectares. Now our government has resolved to increase the irrigation capacity to one crore hectares in the next five years.” He said, “We have planned to recruit 2.5 lakh government posts. This year candidates will be recruited for one lakh posts.
