According to the statement, this decision will ensure easy and more inclusive access to banking services without stress of punishment if the minimum balance is not kept. PNB Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashok Chandra said, “This decision reflects our unwavering commitment to inclusive banking. We believe that waiving these fees will reduce financial pressure on customers and will promote more participation in formal banking ecosystems.
