This information has been received from the data collected by the leading name 'MJNANT' services in the e-auction area. The country's coal imports were 20.15 million tonnes in the same period of a year ago. In December, the import of coal has come down from 2.33 million tonnes to 1.92 million tonnes in the same month of the last financial year. During April-December, 2024, non-cooking coal imports stood at 12.88 million tonnes.
Which was 13.34 million tonnes during the same period of the last financial year. During April-December, the import of cooking coal was 4.06 million tonnes, which was 4.28 million tonnes in the same period of the previous financial year.
