One 97 Communications, a company owned by Paytm brand, announced to appoint Rajiv Krishna Murlilal Aggarwal as additional non-executive independent director of Paytm Money on Thursday.
Paytm Money is a fully-owned subsidiary of Forest 97 Communications. According to the company's statement, Aggarwal will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee in Paytm Money and also as the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee.
Aggarwal has experience over 40 years. He has worked in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) for 28 years. Rakesh Singh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Paytm Money, said, “We are confident with Agarwal's intensive expertise in the operation and risk management of the company that his guidance will strengthen these efforts.”
