AGEN said its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amit Singh will step down from his post and take over as CEO of Adani Group's international energy business. The Adani Group company said in a statement that Ashish Khanna, CEO of the international energy business, will take over as CEO of Adani Green Energy from April 1 next year.
New Delhi. Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) said that its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Amit Singh will step down from his post and take over as CEO of Adani Group's international energy business. The Adani Group company said in a statement that Ashish Khanna, CEO of the international energy business, will take over as CEO of Adani Green Energy from April 1 next year. According to the statement, “Amit Singh, current CEO of AGEN, will step down from his position as CEO of the company with effect from March 31, 2025 and will take over as CEO of Adani Group's international energy business.”
AGEL said the move is in line with the plan for regular internal leadership changes at Adani Group. This change has been made to promote sustainable growth and continuously evolving leadership in line with the objectives of the Group and the Company. Khanna has over three decades of experience in the areas of renewable energy, infrastructure, project management and contract management both in India and abroad. Amit Singh is considered a strategist of the energy industry. He brings rich experience in the green energy transition with extensive global experience from working at SLB (formerly Schlumberger).
