Ziaur Rahman was the first to send labor force abroad from Bangladesh: Alal

Adviser to BNP Chairperson Advocate Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal said Ziaur Rahman was the first person who sent labor force from Bangladesh abroad. He sent the first 6,000 workers abroad. The solid foundation of remittances started with his hands.

He said these things at a discussion meeting organized by the Zia Parishad at the auditorium of the National Press Club on Saturday (January 25) on the occasion of the 89th birth anniversary of BNP founder and former president Ziaur Rahman.

Alal said, 'Ziaur Rahman has contributed in personal, family and social life as a working man. Just like a mother's love is not copied, Ziaur Rahman's ideal is also not copied.

The former president of the youth party said, 'Today the country is in a state of upheaval. Two years ago, under the leadership of our Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman, we presented the reform proposal before the nation. Students who are there today, you unite the nation by doing good work. Because collective strength is the strength of the country. Don't try to use that energy against the teachers, instead use this energy to build the country. It would be better to develop your own leadership.'
