Just three months ago, the students who united and fought against fascism risking their lives, shielded each other's lives, why are they indulging in violence and shedding each other's blood today? Why do the disenfranchised people have to do violent protests on the streets every day? Why is the tone of disunity and division so soon in the voice of the allies of the movement? These questions were raised by my Bangladesh Party (AB Party).
Raising these questions in a press conference on Tuesday (26 November), member secretary of my Bangladesh Party (AB Party) Mojibur Rahman Manju said that the interim government cannot avoid the responsibility of the conflict, conflict, instability and the division of the allies of the last few months in any way. He urged the government to take immediate action to rescue from such situation and remove the worries of the countrymen.
These things were said today from the 'Emergency Press Conference' convened by the AB Party in the context of concern and peacekeeping in various parts of the country including Dhaka. This press conference was held at Dhaka Reporters Unity Auditorium at 3:30 PM on this day. The convener of the party, Professor Dr. answered various questions of the journalists. Major (retd) Abdul Wahab Minar.
Manju also said in the press conference that this government, formed through a successful mass coup at the cost of thousands of students' lives, has been indifferent to the unity of all parties involved in the movement since the beginning. They are not taking into account the concerns of people of all classes and professions regarding the rise in commodity prices. People of various classes and professions have to come down to the streets every day, along with the injured fighters, to demand their rights. However, these movements and demands could have been resolved by sitting on the table by creating a well-coordinated team on the part of the government. Complaints of extortion, encroachment in various places – are not being properly addressed. Expressing disappointment over the bloody clashes between students of educational institutions over trivial reasons, he said the negligence of the intelligence and law enforcement agencies is very evident here. Misunderstandings about mass gatherings of non-violent popular uprisings could also have been resolved if the government had taken early action. He expressed the opinion that the matter of those aggrieved over the past role of some national newspapers could have been resolved through dialogue.
He also said that after the end of the last 15 years of extreme anarchist rule, the countrymen hoped that peace would gradually return everywhere. But conspirators backed by defunct fascism are repeatedly trying to create anarchy in the country, the government is not able to take any proactive action against those conspiracies but sometimes alienates its allied powers and calls them accomplices of the conspirators.
Criticizing the government's law and order policy in the press conference, it is said that there is no such thing as softness in state governance but it is desirable to follow the principle of accuracy for justice and fairness. Despite all public support, spirit of revolution, great power and authority. It will be very sad if a popular figure like Yunus who won the Nobel Peace Prize cannot bring peace to the country. A proposal was made by the AB party to create a compromise charter based on patience and tolerance to all parties involved in the mass coup without looking at the government. Soon they announced that they will take steps to create a 'Mass Upheaval Charter' with all the anti-discrimination students.
