Shafiqur Rahman said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the workers conference held at the local Eastern Jute Mills Sramik Maidan organized by Khanjahan Ali Thana Jamaat-e-Islami in Khulna on Sunday morning.
Amir of Jamaat said that everyone should come forward to build a dignified country. It is necessary to build a country with emphasis on agriculture and industry, not dependent on each other. He said, “We don't want to see any aggressive hand.”
In the afternoon, Jamaat's Amir was the chief guest at the party's Faridpur district workers' conference. At that time, he said, I will build a country where there will be no conflict on the basis of caste and religion. There will be no need to guard temples, mosques, churches. People will respect people and stand tall.
Referring to the contribution of men as well as women in the workplace according to their merits in the development of the country, he said, women can walk on the streets and perform their work with dignity in the workplace and society. In the development of the country, men will be given jobs according to their merits and qualifications.
Jamaat Amir promised that the hands of everyone in the country will be turned into the hands of workers. He said that no one will be forced to wear black burqa. He said, 'There is a slander about us, if Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, women will not be allowed to leave the house. People were instilled with fear. Rasul (pbuh) included women in the battlefield, who are we to lock them in their houses. Threatened, women will be forced to wear the black burqa. No, no one will be forced to wear a black burqa. Those who want to wear it as a symbol of dignity will wear it with pleasure.
