The Workers' Party calls upon the state to take initiative in front of the 'truth' of 21 August

Bangla Tribune Report 21 August 2004 Regarding the verdict of the grenade attack, the Politburo of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh responded in a statement and said, 'The grenade attack on the Awami League public meeting on 21 August 2004 was an extremely brutal and ill-conceived revenge and politically undemocratic approach, which democratic peace-loving people do not want. '

This information was informed in a press release sent to the media on Monday (December 2) afternoon.

The statement said, 'Fair justice in the incident and punishment of the real culprits was the duty of its judicial system in a democratic country. The fact that the truth is suppressed due to the errors in the judicial process and the actual conviction is not established will remain a bad precedent in the future.'

“Therefore, keeping the truth of the incident in front, the state should re-initiate and find the real culprits and ensure punishment,” the Workers' Party believes. Incidentally, the president of the party, Rashed Khan Menon, is currently in jail.
