Nahid Islam said the NCP is ready for elections at any time. However, it is very important to reach a consensus on the declaration of 'July Revolution' before the vote.
The declaration will be prepared through discussions with various political parties and student leaders and will reflect the aspirations of the Bangladeshi people. In addition, it will be prepared to commemorate a thousand people killed in last year's violence.

Nahid Islam was born in Fakirkhali, near Dhaka. He passed the SSC from South Banasree Model High School in Dhaka and HSC from Government Science College in 28 and was admitted to the Department of Sociology at Dhaka University. He was the member secretary of the democratic student forces of the party's neutral student body.
