Tabith Awal met former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia after being elected as the President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BAFFE). The meeting was held on Saturday (October 26) night at Feroza in Gulshan. Khaleda Zia gave a special prayer to Tabith Awal at this time.

Tabith Awal was elected to the post of BAFUF president after defeating rival Dinajpur Trinamool organizer FM Mizanur Rahman. Here Tabith Awal got 123 votes. His opponent Mizanur Rahman got 5 votes.
Voting will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm on Saturday. Out of 133 voters, 128 voted. 5 people did not come. This has been confirmed by the Election Commission.
