BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman said the words of different people of the government seem to be deviating some of their goals. Different people are creating confusion from different comments, people are getting confused.
He said this at the Nationalist Lawyer Forum's workshop on Sunday. The workshop was organized at the Dhaka Bar Auditorium with the outline of the BNP declared state reform.
In the context of the election, Tareq Rahman said, “There may be claims that no election will be held before, any election will be held.” But we have to consider the reality. When we look outside, we see different instability. The main responsibility of the interim government is to agree with the decision that the people of the country want to make and assist the people of the country to make political decisions. '
Commenting on the unrest when there is doubt in politics, Tareq Rahman said, “If there is instability, no matter how much we talk about reforms, none will succeed.” If politics is unstable, it will have an impact on the economy. And the economy will influence everything. Therefore, all the people, including the interim government, should now have to bring the country to a stable state as soon as possible. '
Emphasizing the issue in the elected government, the acting chairman of the BNP said, “Parliament is the biggest place, where political issues are discussed. The more delay in implementing Parliament, the more unrest, the debate will spread out. And as the start to spread, the instability will always increase, which will damage the country as a whole. '
Tareq Rahman also said, “Many people say that all the problems will be solved only when elections are. We can say that a status that will come up with the election will come and gradually the renovation work will begin. The intensity of the problem will gradually start to decrease. Different people will be responsible for solving the problem when elections. Those who are responsible, will discuss, work. Nothing will change in one day, but the possibility will begin. '
The acting chairman of the BNP said, “As a political party, we have a goal how we want to move the country forward. At that point we have said that the caretaker system is re -introduced, the balance of the power of the President and the Prime Minister, we have not said that more than twice the Prime Minister. Another thing is moral change, change of political thinking. To do these things, we have to do it through Parliament. I do not understand how to implement them without Parliament. '
