One of the main goals of the interim government, taking charge of the country after the fall of the Awami League government, is to reform in important places, including the constitution-politics of the country. To that end, they have formed several commissions and the commissions have proposed a lot. It is also difficult to make these reforms without consensus among the political parties. But from the constitution to the elections, many of the major parties are noticed in the position of the major parties. On the basis of the negotiations of the government, an attempt is being made to reduce this consensus on the basis of discussion. Yet, it seems that the parties are reluctant to move from their position.
The BNP has been saying from the beginning that they do not mind reform. Reform must be needed. However, in order to bring the country to the democratic system, the Jatiya Sangsad will have to be held in a short time. The party is advocating to do the minimum reforms needed for this. This opinion of the BNP is not in common with Jamaat -e -Islami. Before the election, the party is speaking with the highest importance on the reform. They are talking about the national election program at the end of the necessary reforms. Even Jamaat leaders have sought local elections before the national elections. BNP leaders have publicly opposed the Jamaat's claim.
On the other hand, the National Citizens Party (NCP) formed by the students who led the government to the decline movement have taken a stand for the reform. The party's statement – It is not possible to build the desired Bangladesh without renovation. In this position, the leaders of the party are advocating to end the renovation process before the national elections.
The interim government has held meetings with the political parties to eliminate the differences in reform. The National consensus commission was formed last February. The Commission is communicating with the parties to eliminate the differences.
Last Saturday, political parties met with the UN Secretary General, where the main content of the discussion was reform. Despite that discussion, the parties are still in their respective positions on the question of reform.
After the meeting with the UN Secretary General, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “What we have said is to make election-centric reforms, then to make a quick election, then to make additional reforms through a parliament. Reform is an ongoing process, that's what we said. '
BNP sources say a palace is jealous of the BNP's popularity at the Awami Leagueless voting ground and is conspiring to postpone the elections. As the days go by, this conspiracy will get more stems. That is why the BNP is not willing to delay the elections due to reform.
So from the previous position, the party's policy makers want to decide the next to do. Many parties in the simultaneous movement with the BNP are also reformed, dialogue is the reason for the delay in the election. Multiple leaders of the parties have said that dialogue is being done through dialogue. Discussion is being demanded for elections. But they also raised the question of why the election roadmap is not being given.
BNP standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said the conspiracy was underway with the vote. In order to delay the elections, it is being given, reform is being talked about. He said the state repair is the responsibility of the elected government. For this, the interim government should transfer power to the elected government by the people's vote.
BNP chairperson's adviser Zainul Abdin Farooq said at a ceremony for the NCP in the context of the reform, the People's Council, the upazila excluded these. Go to Gramganj to verify their popularity and the candidate gave the candidate when the election date was announced. Go to Parliament, there will be the main reform. Reform the polling station. And those who vote, they should not vote at night like Hasina.
Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of civic unity, said, “We think a good election. To ensure human rights, the right to vote must be ensured. As much as it needs to be reformed, it should be done. '
Meanwhile, Jamaat -e -Islami is going to give opinions to the five reforms. Jamaat Secretary General Mia Ghulam Parwar said there was no special opinion on the election of the People's Council. “We have no opinion on the question of the People's Council,” he said. Opinions are coming in many ways, the Commission also says that the People's Council and the national elections can be together or different. There is talk of the needs of the People's Council. The Constituent Assembly is for the constitution of a new country. The Constitution can also be formulated in the Parliament. We have advised our advantages and disadvantages in these matters. Now the National consensus commission will sit with all the parties on the basis of these reports, one to one talk. Then there will be a final decision. '
Samantha Sharmin, senior joint convenor of the Jatiya Citizens Party, said the situation in the country is not helpful for the elections. Referring to the position of different parties on the question of reform, he told today's magazine that it is awful for internal politics. Everywhere, including the administration, the change has been changed. Many of the BNP came there. If they are non -cooperation in different places, it will be late.
Many political parties do not help the government but the situation is making the situation more difficult, Samantha said that timely elections will be impossible if non -cooperation. If the interests of the party are considered without considering the greater interests, then it will not be possible to reach the consensus.
Jonaid Saki, chief coordinator of the People's Solidarity Movement, told Today's newspaper, “The creation of the National Charter on the reform and the election of the Constitution Reform Council is our proposal.” The government is trying to create a consensus. A consensus will surely be created in these matters. However, the discussion has not yet begun.
However, at the roundtable meeting with the UN Secretary General, political parties have expressed their determination to reform, said Vice -President of the National Committee, Professor Ali Riaz. He told today's newspaper on Sunday that all political parties want reform. The parties have stated their position in the meeting with the UN Secretary General.
Regarding the parties' disagreement on the reforms, Ali Riyaz said, “Political parties will certainly respond from their position. We will take into consideration, only when they officially say. Their opinion must be discussed. '
