No difference between staunch Hindutva and Mamata Banerjee: Rizvi

BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi commented that there is no difference between a staunch Hindutva and Mamata Banerjee. He made this comment while strongly condemning and protesting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's proposal to send UN peacekeeping forces to Bangladesh.

He said these things in a press conference at BNP's central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Monday.

Rizvi said, 'The people of Bangladesh are surprised and shocked by such a statement of the Chief Minister of West Bengal. The people of this country knew West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as a secular and liberal person. Today's speech proved once again that there is no difference between a staunch Hindutva and Mamata Banerjee. Most of the politicians in India do not respect the individuality and civil liberties of the people of Bangladesh. Mamata Banerjee also clarified her position in that queue.

Criticizing Mamata Banerjee's speech, he further said, West Bengal Chief Minister's speech seems to be suffering from depression due to the fall of Sheikh Hasina's robbers, murderers, missing persons and torturers. The corrupt Awami fascist government led by Sheikh Hasina brought the country to the brink of destruction by smuggling millions of rupees abroad through murder, disappearance, murder, genocide, torture, oppression, corruption and destroying democracy. Now there is no end to India's efforts to rehabilitate Sheikh Hasina. The people of this country believe that a large part of the millions of rupees smuggled out of Bangladesh is being taken from Bangladesh and spent on hateful Indian politicians. If not, why are the policy makers of India raising anti-Bangladesh jingles like this at the same time.

Rizvi said, 'It was only because of Mamata Banerjee that the Teesta river water agreement was not implemented. So it should be made clear to the international community for what purpose he is proposing to send UN forces to Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country of 18 crore people. The people of this country will decide how this country will run. The blue design of a country's deep conspiracy will never be realized.'
