The National Citizens Party (NCP) will hold a protest rally in Dhaka on May 2.
The decision was made at the fourth general meeting at the party's temporary office on Saturday (April 23). Central members of the NCP from all over the country participated in the meeting chaired by NCP convenor Nahid Islam and a member secretary Akhtar Hossain.
The information was revealed through a notification sent by NCP Joint Member Secretary (Office) Saleh Uddin Sifat.
The meeting decided to form a 'Political Council' to enhance organizational mobility. Which will make all the policy-making decisions of the organization and the meeting is informed about the formation of an 'Executive Council' in the meeting.
Three months later, the committee will include renewal, renewal or new members in the situation. At the same time, a constitution -formation team will be formed with five or more members to formulate the party's constitution.
The team was instructed to draft the party within the next one week. The meeting also directed the nationwide protest rally demanding justice for the Awami League party, the cancellation of registration and the ban on political activities.
