The National Citizens Party (NCP) has expressed solidarity with the ongoing student movement of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuwait). The party has demanded the formation of a neutral inquiry committee and the resignation of the Vice -Chancellor.

Saleh Uddin Sifat, Joint Member Secretary (Office) of the NCP made the demand at an emergency press conference held at the party's temporary office in Banglamart on Monday (April 23). He announced full support for the movement, citing the demands of Kuwait students as logical.

The NCP claims that steps should be taken to resign the VC Muhammad Machud of Kuwait, to open the university hall and activate education activities. At the same time, a neutral inquiry committee headed by the UGC was formed and called for a quick resolution of the ongoing crisis.

Also present at the press conference were Joint Member Secretary Mushfiq Us Salehin, Faisal Mahmud Shant, Nizam Uddin, Joynal Abedin Shishir, Saif Mostafiz.
