Let the Indian hegemony fade away: Hasnat Abdullah

Hasnat Abdullah, the convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, posted on the social media Facebook, “Let Indian domination go”. He posted such a post on his verified Facebook profile on Sunday (December 1) night.

A few hours before this, Hasnat Abdullah made another post thanking BNP for a statement. He wrote, 'Thanks to BNP for such a bold and loud stand.'

Meanwhile, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said in a statement today, “Different communities in Bangladesh have been bound by bonds of love and goodwill for a long time. No reason for breaking communal harmony has emerged here. But hyper propaganda is being run from neighboring countries to destroy communal harmony.'

Alleging that India has stepped up to portray the image of Bangladesh negatively in the international arena, this BNP leader said, 'The end of misrule from Bangladesh, Hasina's escape etc. are causing great pain in their minds. Therefore, non-stop commentary of exaggeration and propaganda is going on to insult, put in distress and insult Bangladesh. However, despite all the fears, threats and calamities, Bangladeshis will resist all the plots with deadly determination.'

Abdul Hannan Masud, the main organizer of the anti-discrimination movement, also posted about India's supremacy on this day. He wrote, Nepal's Hindu population is about 81 percent, they are also anti-India. The problem is India's aggressive attitude. They think they are masters, but they forget, they have not accepted, will not accept any existence of their slaves in this country.'
